We, 18 Thoughts, have been through a lot these past months. These performances include holding our own concert to performing at various malls and churches. Before each performance, we get a little nervous. But once we get up onstage, we enjoy it and have plenty of fun. God has blessed us and we thank Him for all we have accomplished. Currently, we are preparing for a play our Tita Pam has written. She is mixing us with the rest of her performing arts class students. Also, some upcoming events include a performance at Season’s Mall for a TFC event.
To begin, many of you know of our concert last October. We thank all who came and supported us because it was an amazing experience for us.
The preparation was a tiring process, but it all paid off when we went onstage and saw how everyone enjoyed the show. Other places we have been given a chance to perform and share God’s word is at the GMA Adobo Festival, Quimby Oak Middle School, Eastridge Mall, Seasons Mall, and at Lifegate Church.
On March 12, we had our most recent performance hosted by Ms. Adrian with Lifegate that offered praises for God through different forms of art. As we do in all our performances, we always give it our all and hope the crowd likes us. From their smiling faces, I think they enjoyed our music. Also, coming up is a play Tita Pam has written, which mixes 18 Thoughts with students from her performing arts class. This performance will include some original 18 Thoughts songs and some covers as well. It will have many music genres from Broadway numbers to some rock and acoustic. Everyone is working hard to memorize lines and learn new songs and dances, but we are all excited. This play will have a moral that I hope everyone will take with them when they leave the performance. The date April 23rd, I encourage you to come and watch. I hope you can come watch and support us at this show.
In summation, we thank God for the experiences he has allowed us to have and to be surrounded by supportive and such helpful people who always believe in us. We all hope to continue to play music together and to keep performing while sharing God’s word.
